Brits are barking mad for Churchill

Small screen star to return to the stage - and this time he has more to shout about…

Oh Yes he does!

Churchill, the dependable nodding dog from the TV advertisements, took to the stage for the first time last year, performing in 22 pantomimes across the UK and leaving audience members begging for more! True to form, you can't keep a good dog down and Churchill will be returning to the stage to take on a more integral role in pantomime this Christmas. Oh Yes!

He may not usually be a man of many words, but in a decision made due to popular demand, Churchill will now deliver the most famous panto phrases of them all: "Oh Yes it is!" and "Oh No it isn't!"

Nick Thomas at Qdos Entertainment says, "When we first brought Churchill into our panto family, he was an obvious fit, with his trademark 'Oh Yes' and 'Oh No' catchphrases. This year we were really keen to further involve Churchill's character and fully integrate him into the script. We received a lot of letters from the theatres and panto fans all desperate to see more of Churchill and we're thrilled that he can now interact further with the audience."

Peter Deane, Marketing Director at car insurance specialist Churchill adds, "It's an exciting prospect to further involve Churchill in the pantomime scripts, making his character synonymous with the traditional pantomime phrases "Oh Yes it is!" and "Oh No it isn't!"

With a little more practice, who knows where all this could lead? Today its pantomime; tomorrow, Hollywood could be calling.

Churchill will be starring alongside household names including Joan Collins, Christopher Biggins, Craig Revel Horwood and John Barrowman at venues up and down the country.
